The Liberty Incident

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Israel Navy, Shlomo Erel, the Navy of Israel was "at its lowest ebb" in June 1967.

The composition of the Navy is described in Jane's Fighting Ships 1966-1967, pages 140 and 141. The two pages, 140 and 141, are reproduced with the permission of Jane's Information Group-Jane's Fighting Ships.

The motor torpedo boats that attacked the USS Liberty are T-203, T-204 and T-206. T-206 is not listed in either the 1966-1967 edition or the 1967-1968 edition.
