The Liberty Incident

Review of The Liberty Incident
by Notra Trulock III

Former Director of Intelligence at the Department of Energy, Notra Trulock is a distinguished journalist and an investigative reporter. He is the author of "Code Name: Kindred Spirit".

In the 1970's he had worked for the National Security Agency and had heard conspiracy stories about the attack on the U.S.S. Liberty being intentional. On December 17, 2002, while serving as Associate Editor of Accuracy in Media, a Washington organization which describes itself as "a non-profit, grassroots citizens watchdog of the news media that critiques botched and bungled news stories and sets the record straight on important issues that have received slanted coverage", he attended my lecture sponsored by the United States Navy, Navy Historical Center at the Navy Museum in the Washington Navy Yard. Following the lecture he read "The Liberty Incident". He then wrote the following review. I was advised that one of the members of the Board of Directors of Accuracy in Media prevented the review from being published by Accuracy in Media (AIM). It was provided to me by Notra Trulock, III who authorized me to disseminate it.
